Throughout the United States.
Summer and fall.
Full sun.
Spring, when all danger of frost is past.
Well drained.
How much: Apply enough water to plants in the ground to wet the soil 6 to 8 inches deep.
Containers: Apply enough water so that about 10 percent of the water drains from the bottom of the container.
How often: Water when the soil 1 inch below the surface is just barely moist.
If plants become rangy, pinch back about half of the growth to force additional bushy growth.
